Access Accelerated
PROCESS
At the start of my involvement in the project, the strategy team had a solid understanding of what the concept of the initiative was overall, but the client hadn't really figured out the details of the initiative yet. Since we had a hard deadline of a conference they were attending, I had to make a lot of shots in the dark with the designs early on. I used Sketch and Invision to present different options to the client. once the client reviewed the options and gave more direction, I iterated on the designs and kept adding more and more details each round.

OVERVIEW
The big pharma industry has a pretty bad reputation in today's world with the rising price of medications. To help their image and save a few thousand lives the process, the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) started a global initiative, Access Accelerated, to accelerate access to medicine to treat noncommunicable diseases in third world countries.
The concept was to create a digital experience where government officials from third world countries can easily search for initiatives related to specific issues in different parts of the world to find ways they can solve issues within their own country. Another goal of Access Accelerated was to promote collaboration between different initiatives. I was brought into the project as the main UX Designer for the entire digital experience.

OUTCOME
Even though the client wasn't even sure what we were making when we first started, we determined the best experience we wanted users to have and were able to get it live just in time for the conference. The clients were very happy with the results and say that it has been a big help with getting the initiative started.
